Retail and restaurant build-outs in San Francisco

Stores, kiosks and restaurants built to the brand’s standards and scheduled back from the opening date.

What you need

The job, from your side

Retail and restaurant tenants open on a date that marketing, hiring and rent are all tied to. Many also have franchise or brand standards and landlord criteria to meet.

You need a builder who reads those documents before pricing, not after.

What CWI handles

Our part

  • Build-outs to franchise and brand requirements
  • Expanding into an adjoining space
  • Dining rooms, banquet rooms, counters and kiosks
  • Working the hours that suit an operating business
  • Coordinating with your architect, engineer and the city
  • A clean site throughout the project
  • One point of contact from bid to closeout

Before we bid

Questions we’ll ask

  1. Is there a brand or franchise standard? Send the criteria package with the plans.
  2. Is the business open during construction? We plan the work hours around it.
  3. What does the landlord deliver? Shell, second-generation space or an existing store.
  4. When is the opening date? The schedule works back from it.
  5. Who is the architect? And are the plans submitted to the city yet?

Have the answers handy? Put them in the bid request and we’ll come to the walk-through ready.
